The Cooler Master Hyper 212 Spectrum V3 RGB Single Tower CPU Air Cooler in Black (model RR-S4NA-17PA-R1) is a compact, feature-rich air cooler designed for builders who want reliable thermal performance alongside addressable RGB lighting. Its slim 152 mm height ensures compatibility with a wide range of mid-tower and full-tower chassis without compromising airflow clearance around neighbouring components such as RAM or the motherboard VRM zone. At the heart of the cooler sit four nickel-plated heat pipes arranged in a direct-contact layout that maximises the contact surface area between the heat pipes and the CPU heat spreader, accelerating heat transfer from the processor into the aluminium fin stack. The fins dissipate that heat efficiently, keeping temperatures in check during sustained workloads. The bundled 120 mm Spectrum ARGB fan runs on a rifle bearing and is controlled via 4-pin PWM, allowing the motherboard to modulate fan speed automatically between 650 RPM and 1,750 RPM (±10%). At maximum speed it delivers up to 71.93 CFM (122.2 m³/h) of airflow and up to 1.86 mmH₂O of static pressure, while peak noise remains at 31.4 dB(A). Power draw is modest at 3.12 W rated (12 VDC, 0.26 A). The fan's ARGB header supports ARGB auto-detection: connect it to a 3-pin ARGB header and the system automatically activates full addressable spectrum lighting. Without a header it defaults to a built-in spectrum cycling mode — no controller required. Lighting is certified compatible with ASUS Aura Sync, ASRock Polychrome RGB, GIGABYTE RGB Fusion, and MSI Mystic Light ecosystems (note: RGB controller not included in box).
