Overview
The ASRock B365 Pro4 is a full-size ATX motherboard built around the Intel B365 chipset, designed to pair with 8th and 9th Generation Intel Core processors via the LGA1151 socket. At 12.0 x 9.0 inches (30.5 x 22.9 cm), it fits any standard ATX chassis and supports CPUs with a TDP of up to 95W, backed by an 8-phase Digi Power design for stable, efficient delivery. Memory flexibility is a strong point: four DDR4 DIMM slots support dual-channel configurations at speeds up to DDR4 2666 MHz, with a maximum system capacity of 64 GB. Intel XMP 2.0 profiles are supported for optimised memory performance. Storage options are generous. Six SATA3 6.0 Gb/s ports support RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 via Intel Rapid Storage Technology 17, alongside two Ultra M.2 sockets — M2_1 accepts PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe modules up to 22110 in length, while M2_2 supports both SATA3 and PCIe Gen3 x4 NVMe modules up to 2280. A full-coverage M.2 heatsink is fitted over M2_1 to manage thermal load during sustained read/write workloads. Intel Optane memory is also supported. For expansion, two PCIe 3.0 x16 slots (running x16 single or x16/x4 dual) and two PCIe 3.0 x1 Flexible slots provide ample room for discrete graphics and add-in cards. AMD CrossFireX multi-GPU is supported. A Key-E M.2 slot accepts an optional 802.11ac Wi-Fi/Bluetooth module (not included). Display output covers D-Sub, DVI-D, and HDMI 1.4 — enabling triple-monitor configurations from the rear I/O without an additional graphics card. HDMI 1.4 supports 4K (4096×2160) at 30 Hz; D-Sub and DVI-D top out at 1920×1200 at 60 Hz. Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC892 codec delivering 7.1-channel HD audio with Content Protection, augmented by ELNA audio capacitors to reduce noise. Networking uses the Intel I219V Gigabit LAN controller (10/100/1000 Mb/s) with Wake- LAN, Energy Efficient Ethernet 802.3az, ESD, and lightning protection. Rear I/O includes 1x Type-C USB 3.1 Gen1, 5x USB 3.1 Gen1 Type-A, 2x USB 2.0, PS/2, and three analogue audio jacks. Onboard headers add 2x RGB (12V, 5050 strip) and 1x addressable RGB (5V, WS2812B) for Polychrome RGB Sync ecosystem compatibility. ASRock Full Spike Protection covers USB, audio, and LAN ports.
