The 860 PRO uses SATA III 6 Gb/s Interface, but it’s also compatible with SATA 3 Gb/s & SATA 1.5 Gb/s interface, providing backward compatibility.
The operating temperature of the 860 PRO is 0-70℃ and has a reliable MTBF of 1.5 trillion hours. The Samsung 860 PRO SSD comes in the 2.5-inch form factor. The Samsung Magician software can be used to monitor the health of the SSD, get the latest firmware updates to enhance performance, stability and compatibility. The 860 PRO 512GB SATA III SSD supports AES 256-bit hardware-based encryption and is compliant with TCG Opal and IEEE 1667 standards and certifications.
