Overview
The ASRock B560M Pro4/AC Plus is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the Intel B560 chipset, designed to accommodate both 10th Gen and 11th Gen Intel Core processors in the LGA1200 socket. Its 8-phase digital power design, paired with ASRock's premium 50A power chokes and solid capacitors, ensures stable and consistent power delivery to the CPU under sustained loads. Memory support is handled by four DDR4 DIMM slots in dual-channel configuration, with a maximum system capacity of 128GB. With an 11th Gen processor installed, memory can be overclocked up to DDR4 4800 (OC); 10th Gen processors support up to DDR4 4600 (OC). The board also supports Intel XMP 2.0 profiles for straightforward memory tuning. Storage options are extensive: six SATA3 6.0 Gb/s ports with Intel Rapid Storage Technology 18 support sit alongside two M.2 sockets. The primary Hyper M.2 slot (M2_1) accepts PCIe Gen4 x4 modules at up to 64 Gb/s, though it is available only with 11th Gen processors. The secondary Ultra M.2 slot (M2_2) supports both SATA3 and PCIe Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s). Audio is handled by a Realtek ALC897 codec delivering 7.1-channel HD audio with Nahimic Audio software enhancement and surge protection on all audio jacks. The sole video output is an HDMI port: HDMI 2.0 at up to 4K (4096×2160) @ 60 Hz with 11th Gen processors, or HDMI 1.4 at up to 4K @ 30 Hz with 10th Gen processors. RGB lighting is managed through ASRock Polychrome SYNC, supported by two standard RGB LED headers and two addressable LED headers on board. A POST Status Checker (PSC) provides boot-time diagnostics for CPU, DRAM, VGA, and storage. The BIOS is a 128Mb AMI UEFI with multilingual GUI, ACPI 6.0 compliance, and comprehensive voltage monitoring.
