The ASRock B450M Steel Legend Pink Edition is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the AMD Promontory B450 chipset and designed around the AM4 socket, making it compatible with AMD Ryzen 2000 and 3000 Series desktop processors. Its compact 9.6-in x 9.6-in (24.4 cm x 24.4 cm) footprint makes it well-suited for space-conscious builds that still demand a full-featured platform. Memory support is handled by four DDR4 DIMM slots running in dual-channel configuration, with a maximum system capacity of 64 GB. Depending on the CPU generation installed, speeds range from DDR4 2133 up to DDR4 3533+ (OC), and XMP profiles are also supported. Each slot features a 15μ gold contact finish for improved longevity and signal reliability. Storage flexibility is a standout attribute of this board. An Ultra M.2 socket (M2_1) supports PCIe Gen3 x4 speeds of up to 32 Gb/s for NVMe drives when paired with compatible Ryzen CPUs, while a second M.2 socket (M2_2) provides SATA3 6 Gb/s connectivity. Four additional SATA3 6 Gb/s ports round out the storage array with support for RAID 0, 1, and 10 configurations. The board's ASRock Super Alloy build includes 2 oz copper PCB layers for improved thermal efficiency during sustained loads, a premium 60A power choke, Nichicon 12K capacitors (Japan-made), and an XXL aluminum alloy heatsink. A reinforced PCI-E Steel Slot protects against physical damage from heavier graphics cards.
