The ARCTIC Freezer 4U-Altra (model ACFRE00226A) is a single-tower CPU air cooler purpose-built for Ampere Altra and Altra Max server processors on the LGA4926 socket platform. It ships with a platform-specific mounting kit designed to simplify installation in compatible rack environments. At the core of its thermal design are eight 6 mm direct-touch copper heat pipes that maximise the contact surface area between the CPU heat spreader and the fin stack. The aluminium fin array consists of 57 fins at 0.4 mm thickness, engineered for the static pressure demands of dense server airflow paths. Cooling is delivered in a push-pull configuration by two 120 mm PWM fans. These fans leverage dual ball bearing technology and operate across a speed range of 400 to 2,300 RPM under PWM control. At full load they move 71.9 CFM (122.16 m³/h) of air at a static pressure of 3.3 mm H₂O. Noise output is rated at 0.5 Sone. Each fan runs at 12 V DC (start-up at 8 V DC) drawing 0.12 A and connects via a 4-Pin PWM connector with a 4-Pin plug on a 300 mm cable.
