Built on 3D NAND flash technology, the S20 stacks memory cells vertically across multiple layers, which allows higher storage density compared to planar NAND while supporting improved data retention over time. The drive connects via the SATA III 6Gb/s interface and is also backward compatible with SATA I and SATA II ports, making it a straightforward drop-in upgrade for a wide range of systems.
