The ARCTIC Freezer 36 (ACFRE00121A) is a single-tower CPU air cooler designed for builders who want reliable, quiet, and efficient thermal management across Intel and AMD platforms. It ships with two 120 mm P12 PWM PST fans arranged in a push-pull configuration, drawing air through 59 closely spaced aluminium fins mounted on four 6 mm copper heatpipes. The result is thorough heat dissipation even under sustained processor loads, while keeping acoustic output in check thanks to ARCTIC’s fluid dynamic bearing technology—developed with a German-engineered alloy-and-lubricant combination that minimises friction, wear, and bearing noise over the long term. The heatsink’s fin stack is open at the sides, enabling the rear fan to draw supplementary cool air from inside the chassis through the heatsink. This side-flow geometry improves overall case ventilation rather than simply recirculating warm air. Both fans attach to the heatsink via a tool-free click system, eliminating traditional wire clips and making fan installation or replacement straightforward—even with the cooler already mounted in a case. The Freezer 36 is compatible with most standard 120 mm fans, giving you flexibility for future upgrades. ARCTIC includes a custom contact-frame for Intel LGA1700 and LGA1851 sockets.
