The ASRock A320M-HDV R4.0 is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the AMD A320 (Promontory) chipset, designed for AMD Socket AM4 processors. It supports a broad range of CPUs including AMD Ryzen series (Matisse, Picasso, Summit Ridge, Raven Ridge, and Pinnacle Ridge) as well as AMD 7th Gen A-Series APUs (Bristol Ridge), with a maximum TDP of 105W and a 6-phase power design. For memory, the board provides two DDR4 DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration, with a maximum capacity of 32GB. Supported frequencies vary by CPU: Matisse CPUs support DDR4 up to 3200 MHz natively; Pinnacle Ridge and Summit Ridge support DDR4 3200+(OC); Picasso and Raven Ridge APUs top out at 2933 MHz. DIMM slots feature 15μ gold contacts for reliable long-term connectivity. Audio is delivered via a Realtek ALC887 codec offering 7.1-channel HD audio, with ELNA audio capacitors fitted to reduce leakage current and noise. Full Spike Protection covers all USB, audio, and LAN ports. The board uses a 128Mb AMI UEFI BIOS with graphical interface, ACPI 5.1 support, jumperfree configuration, and DRAM voltage adjustment.
