Overview
The ASRock A520M-HDV is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the AMD A520 chipset, designed for AMD AM4 socket processors from the Ryzen 3000 and Ryzen 4000 series (Matisse and Renoir families). Note that it is not compatible with the AMD Ryzen 5 3400G or Ryzen 3 3200G. Measuring 9.0 in x 7.9 in (23.0 cm x 20.1 cm), its compact footprint suits small-to-mid-size builds without compromising on connectivity. For memory, the board provides two DDR4 DIMM slots in dual-channel configuration, supporting up to 64 GB of DDR4 RAM. Matisse-based Ryzen CPUs can run memory up to DDR4 4600+ (OC), while Renoir APUs push that ceiling to DDR4 4733+ (OC), with native speeds including 3200, 2933, 2667, 2400, and 2133 MHz. XMP profiles are supported alongside ECC and non-ECC unbuffered modules.
