The ASRock B450 Pro4 R2.0 is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built on the AMD Promontory B450 chipset and designed for the AM4 socket. It supports AMD Ryzen 2000, 3000, and 5000 Series desktop processors, making it a versatile foundation for system builds ranging from everyday workstations to capable gaming rigs. Memory support spans four DDR4 DIMM slots in dual-channel configuration, with a maximum system capacity of 128 GB. Depending on the installed CPU, native and overclocked frequencies up to DDR4 3200 (and beyond via XMP) are available, with ECC and non-ECC unbuffered modules supported on select Ryzen generations. Storage connectivity is a highlight: six SATA3 6.0 Gb/s ports (four natively supporting RAID 0, 1, and 10; two via ASMedia ASM1061), plus two M.2 sockets. The primary Ultra M.2 slot (M2_1) operates at up to PCIe Gen3 x4 (32 Gb/s) for NVMe SSDs, while the secondary M.2 slot (M2_2) accepts both SATA3 and PCIe Gen3 x2 modules in sizes from 2230 to 22110.
