The ASRock TRX50 WS is an EATX workstation motherboard built on the AMD TRX50 chipset, designed to support both AMD Ryzen Threadripper PRO 7000 and AMD Ryzen Threadripper 7000 Series processors via the AMD sTR5 socket. It is aimed at content creators, engineers, and professional workstation builders who need high core-count compute capacity combined with enterprise-grade memory reliability and broad I/O. The board features a 18+3+3 power phase design with 110A Smart Power Stages for the VCore, paired with a composite VRM heatsink incorporating active cooling fans, large aluminium heatsinks, and a heat pipe to manage thermals under sustained workloads. The PCB itself is constructed with 12 layers and 2oz copper inner layers, with a server-grade ultra low-loss PCB specification that supports PCIe 5.0 signalling for both graphics and M.2 storage. Memory support spans four DDR5 DIMM slots operating in quad-channel mode, accommodating DDR5 ECC Registered (RDIMM and RDIMM-3DS) modules up to a maximum system capacity of 1TB, with overclocking support up to DDR5-7600+ (OC). For expansion, the board provides three PCIe 5.0 x16 slots (PCIE1 and PCIE3 operating at x16; PCIE4 at x8) and two PCIe 4.0 x16 slots (PCIE2 at x4 mode; PCIE5 at x8 mode).
