The ASRock Z790 Steel Legend WiFi is a full-size ATX motherboard built on Intel's Z790 chipset and designed for 12th and 13th Generation Intel Core processors using the LGA1700 socket. It is a capable platform for enthusiast builders and content creators who want robust power delivery, fast storage, and wireless connectivity in one package. At its core, the board features a 16+1+1 power phase design using 60A Smart Power Stage (SPS) MOSFETs for the VCore and GT domains. This design is complemented by Nichicon 12K Black capacitors and a 6-layer, 2oz copper PCB, which together contribute to stable voltage delivery across sustained workloads. Two 8-pin 12V ATX CPU power connectors are included to support demanding processors. Memory support is handled by four DDR5 DIMM slots in a dual-channel configuration, accommodating up to 128GB of non-ECC unbuffered DDR5 memory.
