When GPU temperature drops below 55 °C under light or idle loads, 0dB Technology halts all fans entirely, eliminating noise in low-demand scenarios. A dual-BIOS switch on the card lets you toggle between Performance mode — which runs a more aggressive fan curve to maintain lower GPU temperatures — and Quiet mode, which applies a gentler curve at medium thermal loads while maintaining the same power target. For users who want granular control, ASUS GPU Tweak III software supports custom fan profiles and performance tuning. Manufacturing uses ASUS’s Auto-Extreme Technology, an automated single-pass soldering process intended to reduce thermal stress on components and minimise the use of chemical cleaning agents during production.
