Overview
The ASUS Prime B760M-F WIFI is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on Intel's B760 chipset with an LGA1700 socket, supporting 12th, 13th, and 14th Generation Intel Core processors. It is designed to meet the connectivity and performance demands of modern desktop builds, combining a compact Micro-ATX form factor with a comprehensive feature set. At the heart of its connectivity is a PCIe 5.0 x16 slot for the primary graphics card, delivering doubled bandwidth versus PCIe 4.0 while maintaining backward compatibility. Two onboard M.2 slots (Key M) both operate at PCIe 4.0 speeds, accommodating high-speed NVMe SSDs for fast storage. Four SATA 6 Gb/s ports round out storage options for additional drives. Memory support uses DDR5 in a dual-channel configuration across two DIMM slots, with a maximum capacity of 96 GB and speed support up to 8000 MHz (OC). Intel XMP profiles are supported for straightforward memory overclocking. Wireless connectivity is handled by an integrated WiFi 6 (802.11ax) module with a theoretical peak bandwidth of up to 600 Mbps, optimised for dense network environments. Bluetooth 5.3 is also included. Wired networking is provided by a Realtek 1 Gb Ethernet controller. The back panel I/O includes four USB 5 Gbps Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 Type-A ports, one HDMI output, one DisplayPort output, and three audio jacks. Internally, front-panel USB headers provide two additional USB 5 Gbps and two additional USB 2.0 ports. Cooling is managed through one 4-pin CPU fan header and two 4-pin chassis fan headers, controllable via ASUS Fan Xpert 2+ software or directly through the UEFI BIOS. Addressable RGB Gen 2 headers (two onboard) allow integration with Aura Sync-compatible lighting accessories. Additional onboard headers include a Clear CMOS header, COM port header, front panel audio (F_AUDIO), S/PDIF Out, Speaker, SPI TPM (14-1 pin), and a 10-1 pin front panel system header. Power connectors follow standard ATX layout: 24-pin main and 8-pin +12V CPU.
