The ASUS ROG Maximus XI Hero is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built on the Intel Z390 chipset and designed for 9th and 8th generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron processors via the LGA1151 socket. It measures 30.5 cm x 24.4 cm and supports Intel Turbo Boost Technology 2.0, making it a capable platform for enthusiast desktop builds. Memory support spans four DDR4 DIMM slots accommodating up to 64 GB of non-ECC unbuffered RAM in a dual-channel configuration. Native speeds of 2133/2400/2666 MHz are supported, with XMP overclocking profiles reaching up to 4400 MHz (O.C.), giving builders significant headroom for performance tuning.
