The ASUS ROG Strix B365-F Gaming is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built around the Intel B365 chipset and LGA1151 socket, designed to support 8th and 9th generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron desktop processors running on Intel's 14 nm process. At its core, the board provides four DDR4 DIMM slots accommodating up to 64 GB of dual-channel, non-ECC unbuffered memory across speeds of 2133, 2400, and 2666 MHz, with Intel Extreme Memory Profile (XMP) support for enthusiast kits. Storage flexibility is addressed through two PCIe 3.0 x4 M.2 Socket 3 slots (key-M, supporting 2242/2260/2280 form factors); the first slot also accepts SATA-mode M.2 drives and includes an integrated M.2 heatsink to maintain consistent thermal performance under sustained workloads. Six SATA 6 Gb/s ports, Intel Rapid Storage Technology support, and Intel Optane Memory readiness round out the storage feature set. Audio is delivered by ROG SupremeFX using the S1220A codec — an 8-channel HD solution featuring dual headphone amplifiers, impedance sensing for front and rear outputs, 120 dB SNR stereo playback, 113 dB SNR recording, and 32-bit/192 kHz playback capability, complemented by Sonic Studio III and Sonic Radar III software. Fan management is handled by Fan Xpert 4, which includes Fan Auto Tuning and GPU temperature sensing for system-wide cooling optimisation. ROG Aura Sync enables RGB LED control across the board's built-in LEDs and an onboard RGB strip header, synchronisable with compatible ASUS ROG peripherals and components.
