Overview
The ASUS TUF Gaming X570-Plus (Wi-Fi) is a full ATX motherboard built on the AMD X570 chipset and designed for the AM4 socket, supporting 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen processors as well as 1st and 2nd Gen AMD Ryzen processors with Radeon Vega Graphics. At its core is a 12+2 Dr. MOS power delivery system — combining high-side and low-side MOSFETs and gate drivers in a single package — paired with a 6-layer PCB, ProCool power connectors, and Digi+ VRM digital power control. This combination provides stable, efficient power delivery to high-core-count AMD CPUs during sustained workloads and gaming sessions. Storage and expansion options are extensive. With 3rd Gen Ryzen processors installed, the primary M.2 slot operates at PCIe 4.0 x4 speeds, while the second M.2 slot (chipset-connected) also supports PCIe 4.0 x4 and SATA modes. Eight SATA 6Gb/s ports and RAID 0, 1, and 10 support round out the storage stack. The primary PCIe x16 slot runs at PCIe 4.0 x16 with a 3rd Gen Ryzen CPU, falling back to PCIe 3.0 x16 with 2nd Gen processors. For memory, four DIMM slots accept up to 128GB of unbuffered DDR4 in dual-channel configuration. With 3rd Gen Ryzen, supported speeds reach DDR4-4400 (OC); with 2nd Gen Ryzen, up to DDR4-3600 (OC). Networking is handled by the Realtek L8200A Gigabit Ethernet controller, complemented by an Intel Wireless-AC 9260 module delivering Wi-Fi 5 (802.11ac) across dual 2.4/5 GHz bands with 2x2 MU-MIMO and 160 MHz channel support for wireless throughput up to 1.73 Gbps. Bluetooth 5.0 is also integrated. The Realtek ALC S1200A 8-channel HD audio codec delivers 108 dB SNR on stereo line-out and 103 dB SNR on line-in, supported by audio shielding, dedicated PCB layers for left and right channels, and Japanese audio capacitors. Back-panel I/O includes 4x USB 3.2 Gen 1 (5 Gbps), 2x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-A (10 Gbps), 1x USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C (10 Gbps), HDMI 1.4b, DisplayPort, optical S/PDIF out, and 5 audio jacks. Aura Sync RGB, two RGB strip headers, and one Addressable Gen 2 header enable lighting customization and ecosystem synchronization.
