The Cooler Master Hyper 612 Apex is a dual-tower CPU air cooler built for high-performance desktops that demand reliable thermal management without the complexity of liquid cooling. Its compact dual-tower design measures 127 x 114 x 159 mm, making it 30% smaller than the previous Hyper 612 generation while retaining the same cooling capability and full clearance for all memory module sizes. At the heart of the Hyper 612 Apex are six in-house designed superconductive composite heat pipes that draw heat away from the CPU contact base and distribute it evenly across both aluminium fin stacks. Two Cooler Master Mobius 120P fans — each 120 x 120 x 25 mm — are mounted in a push-pull configuration to maximise airflow through the fin array. The fans spin between 0 and 2,400 RPM (±10%) via 4-pin PWM headers, delivering up to 75.2 CFM of airflow and 3.63 mmH₂O of static pressure while keeping acoustics at or below 30 dBA under full load. LDB (Long Life Dynamic) bearings underpin a rated MTTF of more than 200,000 hours. Each fan draws 0.18 A at 12 VDC (rated) with a safety ceiling of 0.35 A, and total power consumption per fan is 2.16 W. The removable top cover simplifies installation and routine maintenance, and the all-black stealth finish suits both windowed and closed chassis builds. There are no LEDs, keeping the aesthetic clean and distraction-free.
