The CORSAIR Frame 5000D RS ARGB is a feature-packed EATX mid-tower cabinet engineered for builders who demand maximum airflow, modular flexibility, and clean aesthetics in a single package. At its core is the FRAME Modular Case System, which allows you to swap out key components — including the motherboard tray, I/O panel, front intake panel, and PSU shroud — so the chassis can evolve alongside your build rather than becoming obsolete. Airflow is a primary design priority. The steel front panel uses a 3D Y-Pattern perforation layout that minimises obstruction while directing a steady stream of cool air into the interior. The InfiniRail fan mounting system accommodates up to 120mm, 140mm, or 200mm fans simultaneously across multiple positions, providing exceptional configuration flexibility. Four RS140 ARGB PWM fans are included out of the box and connect via daisy-chain, requiring only a single 4-pin PWM connector and one +5V ARGB header on your motherboard — no dedicated controller needed. The chassis is designed slightly wider and longer than typical mid-tower cases to ensure compatibility with high-end cooling solutions and oversized components. Cooling headroom is substantial: the top position accepts radiators up to 420mm, while the front and side positions support up to 360mm radiators. The internal side panel near the motherboard tray can serve as a cable management cover or be removed entirely to mount additional fans for greater cooling potential. Reverse-connector motherboard compatibility has been validated with ASUS BTF, MSI Project Zero, and Gigabyte Project Stealth platforms. The RapidRoute 2.0 pegboard-style motherboard tray provides custom-position cable tie-down points, and the package includes six cinching straps and two wire loom pairs.
