The COUGAR Airface Eco RGB (CGR-5YA2B-RGB) is a mid tower PC case engineered around a core principle: move more air while consuming less energy. At the heart of its thermal design are coned vents on the front panel that taper inward from a wide opening, channelling airflow more efficiently into the chassis. This geometry draws on thermodynamic principles to push a greater volume of air into the case at lower rotational speeds, reducing energy draw without sacrificing cooling performance. Two 180mm ARGB PWM fans come pre-installed at the front, running between 300 and 1,200 RPM (±10%) and adjusting speed in response to system thermal load. A 120mm ARGB exhaust fan is pre-mounted at the rear at a fixed 1,000 RPM (±10%), completing a three-fan out-of-box cooling foundation. All three fans feature 5V 3-pin ARGB connectors and synchronise with your motherboard's RGB header via the built-in LED controller, enabling system-wide lighting synchronisation without additional software bridges. The case supports radiators up to 360mm in both the front and top positions, and up to 140mm or 120mm at the rear, giving builders significant water-cooling flexibility. GPU installations can span up to 390mm in length and may be mounted horizontally or vertically thanks to the upgraded vertical GPU bracket — redesigned based on user feedback to provide more unobstructed airflow around the card. Expansion is handled by seven slots, all of which can be converted from horizontal to vertical orientation. Dust management is addressed on three sides: the front uses an innovative quick-slide filter that pulls out without removing the front panel and features a rubber tag for easy grip; the top filter is magnetically attached; and the bottom filter slides out for tool-free removal. Assembly is made more accessible through a removable top panel and a detachable front bracket that open up the interior for easier component installation. A modular front I/O panel can be repositioned to the top or bottom of the case, housing one USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C port, two USB 3.0 Type-A ports, a 4-pole headset audio jack, and an RGB button.
