The Deepcool AN600 is a compact, low-profile single-tower CPU air cooler designed for small form-factor and ITX builds where vertical clearance is at a premium. Standing just 67 mm tall, it manages to deliver up to 180 W of cooling capacity — a remarkable thermal budget for a cooler of this size — making it a practical option for mid-range and enthusiast CPUs in space-constrained chassis. At the core of the AN600's thermal solution are six 6 mm copper heatpipes arranged in direct contact with a raised copper coldplate. Heat is rapidly distributed across 62 aluminium fins, and a slim 120×120×15 mm fluid dynamic bearing (FDB) fan draws air down through the stack and outward over adjacent components. The top-down airflow orientation is intentional: it directs airflow across the RAM slots and VRM area, actively cooling memory modules up to 40 mm tall — a meaningful benefit for builds using tall heat-spreader kits. The FDB fan operates across a wide 500–1850 RPM range via a 4-pin PWM connector, generating up to 61.56 CFM of airflow at a static pressure of 1.97 mmAq, with noise capped at ≤24.4 dB(A). A bundled low-speed adapter (LSP) cable reduces maximum speed to 500–1250 RPM, cutting airflow to 41.51 CFM and noise to ≤20 dB(A) for near-silent operation in low-load scenarios. The fan draws just 3.24 W at 12 V, keeping its own power footprint minimal. Installation is aided by an all-metal backplate that evenly distributes mounting pressure behind the CPU socket, reducing motherboard flex.
