The Fractal Design Define 7 XL Solid is a full tower cabinet engineered for enthusiast and workstation builds that demand maximum space, storage, and thermal headroom. Built around an extensively adaptable dual-layout interior, the chassis accommodates motherboards up to E-ATX and SSI-EEB form factors, giving builders the freedom to install the most demanding platforms without compromise. The anodized aluminum front panel features reversible dual-handed hinges that swing fully open to expose the entire case interior, making component installation and maintenance straightforward even in densely packed configurations. Storage flexibility is a defining characteristic of the Define 7 XL. In the Storage Layout, the case supports up to 18 HDD or SSD positions across 6 universal 3.5"/2.5" trays, 2 dedicated SSD brackets, and 2 multibrackets — with 6 trays and 2 brackets included in the box. An additional 5 dedicated 2.5" drive positions bring the total SSD capacity to five slots. Two 5.25" ODD bays are included and can be converted to an additional front fan mount with a filtered louver for added cooling flexibility.
