The Fractal Design Lumen S36 V2 RGB (model FD-W-L1-S3612) is a 360mm all-in-one CPU liquid cooler designed for builders who want precise thermal control alongside configurable RGB aesthetics. The pump head features a duality design that shifts between a stealthy matte appearance and a fully illuminated look, depending on your lighting preference. Six ARGB LEDs on the pump head are addressable via any 5V ARGB-compatible motherboard header or standalone controller, letting you dial in everything from a subtle glow to a vivid light show using your motherboard's own RGB interface. The removable pump head top can be rotated at 90-degree intervals, so the Fractal Design logotype always sits horizontally regardless of whether the radiator is mounted at the top or front of your case. Coolant flows through 400mm low-permeability rubber tubes wrapped in braided nylon sleeves, connecting the pump block — which uses articulating 90-degree elbow fittings on the block side and barbed fittings on the radiator side — to the 392 x 120 x 27mm aluminium radiator. The copper cold plate transfers heat efficiently from your CPU to the liquid loop. Thermal paste comes pre-applied from the factory, simplifying installation. The pump operates at a fixed 4,000 RPM (±10%), uses a ceramic bearing, draws 0.34A at 12V DC, and produces 22 dBA at full speed, with a rated MTTF of 50,000 hours. Three bundled Aspect 12 RGB PWM fans (120mm, rifle-bearing) cover a 500–2,000 RPM speed range with PWM control, generating between 13 and 56 CFM of airflow and up to 2.34 mm H₂O static pressure. Acoustic output scales from near-silent (under 10 dBA at low speeds) to 33.2 dBA at maximum speed. Each fan is rated to 90,000 hours MTTF. Socket compatibility spans the most common Intel and AMD platforms: Intel LGA1700, LGA1200, LGA1150/1151/1155/1156, LGA1366, LGA2011, LGA2011-3, and LGA2066; AMD AM5, AM4, AM3+/AM3, AM2+/AM2, FM2+, FM2, and FM1.
