The Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact is a steel-and-tempered-glass ATX mid tower cabinet engineered for builders who need serious airflow performance in a space-efficient footprint. Measuring 424 × 210 × 475 mm (L × W × H) and weighing 7.7 kg net, the chassis holds a volume of 39.4 litres — a deliberately compact envelope that still accommodates full-size ATX, mATX, and Mini-ITX motherboards. Airflow is a defining strength. The front panel features a hinged removable nylon mesh filter with a tether-free bezel, giving quick access to the three 120 mm or two 140 mm front fan mounts. Two Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-14 140 mm fans come pre-installed at the front, and a Dynamic X2 GP-12 120 mm fan is fitted at the rear, providing out-of-box three-fan circulation. In total the case supports up to seven fans across front (3× 120 or 2× 140 mm), top (2× 120/140 mm), rear (1× 120 mm), and bottom (1× 120 mm, with HDD cage removed) positions. Dust filters are fitted at the front, top, and base, with the base filter covering the full PSU length for convenient front-sliding removal. Liquid cooling is equally well catered for: the front bay accepts radiators up to 360/280 mm, the top supports up to a 240 mm radiator (maximum radiator width 145 mm; motherboard component height limit 40 mm for top-mounted units), the rear fits a 120 mm radiator, and the bottom accepts a 120 mm unit when the HDD cage is removed. Graphics cards up to 341 mm (or 360 mm with the front fan removed) fit without modification, and CPU coolers up to 169 mm tall are supported. The ATX PSU bay accepts units up to 200 mm long (165 mm when the HDD cage and front fan are both installed). The left side panel is bolt-free light-tint tempered glass secured by a top-latching mechanism; the right panel is steel. Front I/O includes one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port (up to 10 Gbps), two USB 3.0 ports, and audio I/O alongside power and reset buttons. Storage provision covers two universal 3.5″/2.5″ drive mounts and four dedicated 2.5″ SSD mounts (two SSD brackets included). Cable management is aided by three integrated cable alignment clips, six fixed velcro straps, rubber-grommet-lined routing holes, and 17–28 mm of behind-motherboard tray space. Captive thumbscrews are used throughout for HDD, SSD, and PSU brackets. Seven expansion slots accommodate multi-GPU or high-profile add-in card configurations.
