The Fractal Design Meshify 2 Solid is a full-featured E-ATX mid tower cabinet designed for builders who need generous interior space, robust thermal management options, and clean cable routing. Finished in matte black with steel side panels on both left and right, the Solid variant forgoes a tempered glass window in favour of a quieter, more understated aesthetic that still carries the iconic angular mesh front panel the Meshify line is known for. Inside, the Meshify 2 Solid accommodates motherboards from Mini-ITX all the way up to E-ATX boards measuring up to 285 mm wide, making it equally suited to mainstream ATX and high-end HEDT platforms. CPU coolers up to 185 mm tall fit without modification, and graphics cards can reach 491 mm in the default Open Layout — or 315 mm when the Storage Layout is active. ATX power supplies up to 250 mm in length are supported when the HDD cage is installed. Thermal flexibility is a core strength. The case ships with three Dynamic X2 GP-14 fans pre-installed (two at the front, one at the rear) and offers nine total 120/140 mm fan positions distributed across the front, top, rear, and bottom. Radiator support extends to 360 mm or 280 mm at the front, up to 420 mm at the top, 120 mm at the rear, and up to 280 mm at the bottom — accommodating a broad range of custom water-cooling loops. Front I/O includes one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port (up to 10 Gbps), two USB 3.0 ports, and a combined audio jack alongside power and reset buttons. An ultra-slim Nexus+ 2 fan hub manages up to three PWM and six 3-pin fans from a single motherboard header. Cable management is assisted by 30 mm of routing space behind the motherboard tray, rubber grommets, fixed Velcro straps, and a detachable PSU cable shield.
