The Fractal Design Vector RS Dark is a premium ATX mid-tower PC case engineered for builders who refuse to compromise on either aesthetics or thermal performance. Constructed from steel and tinted tempered glass, the chassis features glass panels on three sides, all secured without visible bolts for a clean, uninterrupted look. The top panel is interchangeable: swap the default tinted tempered glass for the included ventilated steel cooling bracket whenever maximum airflow takes priority over display. A continuous ARGB LED strip wraps the front and top of the case in a synchronized run. Lighting is fully customizable through a standard 5 V RGB motherboard header or the included Adjust R1 controller, ensuring compatibility with major RGB software ecosystems. Cooling is a central focus of the Vector RS Dark. Three Fractal Design Dynamic X2 GP-14 140 mm fans come pre-installed — two at the front and one at the rear — delivering immediate airflow out of the box. The total fan mount count reaches nine positions (six with the standard configuration, plus three additional mounts when the cooling bracket is fitted). Counter-angled front intake vents are designed to minimize noise transmission while preserving airflow. High-density industrial sound-damping bitumen on the right-hand side panel further reduces case resonance. Easy-to-clean nylon mesh dust filters are present on the front, top, and base. Water-cooling builders are exceptionally well served: the case accepts radiators up to 360 mm or 280 mm at the front, up to 420 mm or 360 mm at the top (cooling bracket required), 120 mm at the rear, and up to 280 mm or 240 mm at the base. The Nexus+ fan hub manages up to nine fans via a single motherboard header. Storage flexibility is equally impressive. Six vibration-damped universal 3.5-inch HDD trays and two dedicated 2.5-inch SSD brackets are included, expanding to eleven HDD and four SSD positions total with optional Type A brackets. The modular layout converts from a storage-focused standard configuration to a cooling-centric open arrangement. A ventilated PSU shroud conceals cabling and adds further SSD mounting options. The front I/O panel provides one USB 3.1 Gen 2 Type-C port with fast-charging capability and speeds up to 10 Gbps, two USB 3.0 ports, and audio in/out.
