Overview
The GAMDIAS BOREAS M2-51D ARGB 120mm CPU Air Cooler in matte black brings together a functional digital monitoring display and capable thermal hardware in a single tower form factor designed for modern mainstream platforms. A crystal-clear digital screen integrated at the top of the cooler lets you track CPU temperature and fan RPM in real time, with display modes configurable via the ZEUS CAST software — no third-party overlay or secondary panel required. At the heart of the cooling stack are five copper heat pipes using direct contact technology, which route heat away from the CPU die and distribute it across an aluminum fin array. The thick copper base plate increases surface contact for more efficient heat uptake. Airflow through the fin stack is driven by a single 120mm hydraulic bearing ARGB fan with PWM control, spinning between 800 and 2000 RPM (±10%) and generating up to 80.83 CFM of airflow at 2.80 mmH2O static pressure. Noise output is rated between 10 and 32 dBA across that speed range. The fan connects via a 4-pin PWM header, while lighting runs through a 5V 3-pin ARGB header compatible with major motherboard RGB sync ecosystems. A separate 9-pin USB connector supports the digital display module. The cooler measures 120 × 72 × 158 mm overall, with the 158 mm height accommodating standard mid-tower cases. Full DRAM clearance is maintained so memory upgrades on both Intel and AMD boards remain unobstructed. The GAMDIAS Universal Mounting Kit in the box supports Intel LGA 1851, 1700, 1200, 1151, 1150, 1155, and 1156 sockets alongside AMD AM5 and AM4, covering current-generation Intel Core and AMD Ryzen 3 through Ryzen 9 processors.
