At the heart of the cooling stack are six copper heat pipes paired with an optimized convex copper base. The convex base geometry is designed to maximize contact with the CPU integrated heat spreader, improving heat transfer from the source. Heat is drawn through the pipes into an aluminum fin array, where the included 120mm PWM fan moves it out of the heatsink. The fan operates between 800 and 2000 RPM (±10%) and delivers up to 80.83 CFM of airflow at a static pressure of 2.80 mmH2O.
