Overview
The Gigabyte B560M DS3H AC is a Micro ATX motherboard built on the Intel B560 Express Chipset, designed for LGA1200 socket processors. It supports Intel 11th Generation Core i9, i7, and i5 processors, as well as 10th Generation Core i9, i7, i5, i3, Pentium, and Celeron processors, making it a versatile foundation for a wide range of Intel-based builds. Memory flexibility is a key strength of this board. Four DDR4 DIMM slots support up to 128 GB of system memory in a dual-channel configuration. With an 11th Gen processor installed, memory can be overclocked up to DDR4 5333 (O.C.), while 10th Gen i9 and i7 processors support up to DDR4 2933 natively. XMP profiles are also supported for straightforward memory tuning. Storage options are generous for a compact form factor. A CPU-connected M.2 slot (M2P_CPU) supports PCIe 4.0 x4 NVMe drives in 2260, 2280, and 22110 sizes, while a chipset-connected M.2 slot (M2A_SB) supports both SATA and PCIe 3.0 x4 drives. Six SATA 6 Gb/s ports round out the storage connectivity. Onboard wireless is provided by an AzureWave AW-CB304NF module (Realtek RTL8821CE), delivering 802.11a/b/g/n/ac dual-band Wi-Fi across 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands with Bluetooth 4.2. Wired networking uses a Realtek GbE LAN chip. The back panel offers a USB Type-C port with USB 3.2 Gen 1 support, three USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-A ports, two USB 2.0 ports, DisplayPort 1.2 (up to 4096×2304 @ 60 Hz), HDMI 1.4 (up to 4096×2160 @ 30 Hz), a PS/2 keyboard/mouse port, and three audio jacks. RGB Fusion 2.0 supports both 5 V addressable LED and 12 V RGB LED strips, with one dedicated header for each type onboard. Smart Fan 6 provides granular fan control through up to seven temperature and speed control points per header, with FAN STOP capability to eliminate fan noise under low load. Power delivery uses a direct 6+2-phase digital VRM with low RDS MOSFETs and an 8-pin solid-pin ATX 12V connector. The Q-Flash Plus feature allows BIOS updates without installing a CPU, memory, or graphics card — a practical advantage during initial builds or recovery scenarios. Audio is handled by a Realtek High Definition Audio CODEC supporting up to 7.1-channel output.
