The GIGABYTE B660M Gaming X DDR5 is a Micro ATX motherboard built on Intel's B660 chipset and designed for 12th Generation Intel Core, Pentium Gold, and Celeron processors using the LGA1700 (Socket 1700) interface. It pairs the latest DDR5 memory standard with XMP 3.0 support, letting builders take advantage of faster memory speeds and improved bandwidth compared to previous generations. Four DDR5 DIMM slots support dual-channel memory configurations with a maximum capacity of 128 GB. For graphics, the board provides one PCIe x16 slot running at full x16 bandwidth, ideal for a primary discrete GPU installation. A secondary PCIe x4 slot offers additional expansion options. Storage connectivity is handled by four SATA 6 Gb/s ports with RAID 0, 1, 5, and 10 support, enabling flexible drive configurations for both speed and redundancy.
