The GIGABYTE B850M Gaming X WiFi 6E is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on AMD's B850 chipset for the AM5 platform, designed to support AMD Ryzen 9000, Ryzen 8000, and Ryzen 7000 series processors. It pairs a digital twin 10+2+2 phase VRM solution with VRM Thermal Armor Advanced to keep power delivery stable during demanding workloads and extended gaming sessions. Memory capacity is generous for a Micro-ATX design: four DDR5 DIMM slots support dual-channel operation up to 256 GB, with overclocking profiles up to 8200 MT/s and compatibility with both AMD EXPO and XMP memory modules. The primary PCIe x16 slot runs at PCIe 5.0 x16 for Ryzen 9000 and 7000 series CPUs, making it ready for current-generation graphics cards.
