The Lian Li Lancool 216 ARGB is an E-ATX mid-tower chassis engineered around high-airflow performance and flexible cooling configurations. Its steel and 4.0mm tempered glass construction houses a continuous front-to-top mesh panel system that spans the front intake, top exhaust, and the side of the PSU shroud, ensuring unrestricted air movement through the entire system. Out of the box, the Lancool 216 ships with two 160mm ARGB PWM fans at the front and one 140mm PWM fan at the rear, supporting up to ten fans in total across all mounting positions. Each 160mm ARGB fan features dual LED channels — one along the outer rim and one at the blade shaft — independently controllable via a 5V 3-pin motherboard header. A SATA-powered fan hub located in the second chamber behind the motherboard tray can support up to four ARGB and PWM fans simultaneously. Cooling flexibility is a core strength of the Lancool 216. A modular rear panel lets builders shift between air-cooling mode, where the motherboard sits higher and the PSU shroud accepts additional fans, and water-cooling mode, where a 63mm gap is preserved at the top for AIO or custom loop radiator installations. Front, top, and bottom radiator mounts each support up to 360mm radiators, making the case suitable for demanding thermal setups. The rear PCIe fan bracket accommodates a 120mm fan that improves GPU exhaust and intake/exhaust balance without obstructing GPU I/O ports. The PCIe expansion slot panel can be rotated for vertical GPU installation; a compatible Lian Li PCIe 4.0 x16 riser cable (sold separately, PCB hole spacing 112.7mm) is required. GPU clearance reaches 392mm in length and 180mm in height in air-cooling mode. The front I/O module — carrying two USB 3.0 ports, one USB Type-C port, a combined audio jack, a power button, and a reset button — can be relocated from the top-front position to the lower-left of the front panel.
