The Lian Li Lancool 217 (White) is a mid-tower PC chassis that pairs a natural birch wood accent frame with a perforated front mesh panel, creating a clean, minimalist aesthetic suited to modern workstation builds. Constructed from steel with a 4.0mm tempered glass side panel, the cabinet is rigid enough for full-sized component loads while keeping the interior visible and accessible. Out of the box, the Lancool 217 arrives with five pre-installed fans: two 170mm front fans with FDB (Fluid Dynamic Bearing) for quieter, longer-lasting operation, two 120mm fans above the PSU shroud directed at the GPU, and one 140mm rear exhaust fan. The front and bottom fans use a tool-less rubber-pad mounting system, making it easy to reposition them between CPU-focused and GPU-focused cooling configurations without a screwdriver. Compatibility is a standout strength of this chassis. It supports SSI-EEB motherboards up to 330mm wide, E-ATX up to 280mm wide, ATX, Micro-ATX, and Mini-ITX form factors, as well as ATX and Micro-ATX back-connect motherboards for ultra-clean cable routing. GPUs up to 380mm in length and 180mm in height are accommodated, and an adjustable anti-sag bracket is included to keep large graphics cards properly supported. Dual PSU mounting orientations (standard mode for PSUs up to 220mm, rotated mode for PSUs up to 180mm) give builders extra flexibility when planning cable routing. The top bracket supports 360mm, 280mm, and 240mm radiators and can be fully removed from the chassis to simplify radiator and hardware installation. The left-side frame bar comes away with it, opening additional working room. An onboard hub provides 6 PWM fan ports and 4 x 5V ARGB ports, centralising fan and lighting control. Two magnetic dust filters (front and bottom) protect internal components and can be removed for cleaning without tools.
