Heat is drawn rapidly away from the CPU die and spread across 39 aluminium fins, which are arranged in a wide-fin layout to maximise airflow. The asymmetric, slanted heat-pipe design shifts the heatsink body away from the memory slot area, allowing tall RAM kits to fit freely without any compatibility issues. The included 120 mm PWM fan operates between 600 and 1,500 RPM (±10%) and produces a maximum airflow of 73 CFM while keeping noise to no more than 29.3 dBA at full speed — a level that remains unobtrusive even during extended gaming or rendering sessions. The fluid dynamic bearing construction extends the rated fan lifespan to 60,000 hours.
