The MSI B450 Gaming Plus Max is an ATX form-factor motherboard built on the AMD B450 chipset and designed for AMD Socket AM4. It is compatible with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd Generation AMD Ryzen desktop processors, as well as Ryzen with Radeon Vega Graphics, 2nd Gen Ryzen with Radeon Graphics, and Athlon with Radeon Vega Graphics processors. Memory support is extensive: four DDR4 DIMM slots accommodate up to 64 GB in dual-channel configuration. JEDEC speeds of 1866, 2133, 2400, and 2667 MHz are natively supported, while A-XMP overclocking profiles push Ryzen Gen 3 (R5/R7/R9) systems up to 4133 MHz.
