The MSI B550-A Pro is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built on the AMD B550 chipset, designed for the AM4 socket. It supports AMD Ryzen 5000 and 3000 Series desktop processors, as well as AMD Ryzen 4000 G-Series desktop processors. Note that a BIOS update may be required to enable support for Ryzen 5000 Series CPUs, and the board is not compatible with the Ryzen 5 3400G or Ryzen 3 3200G. For memory, the B550-A Pro accommodates four DDR4 DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 128 GB. Native JEDEC speeds range from 1866 MHz up to 3200 MHz, while overclocked A-XMP profiles extend support up to 4400 MHz.
