The MSI MAG X870E Gaming Plus Max WiFi 7 is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built on AMD’s X870E chipset, designed to support AMD Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series desktop processors via the Socket AM5 platform. It pairs a robust power delivery architecture — a 14+2+1 Duet Rail Power System using 60A SPS MOSFETs and dual 8-pin CPU power connectors — with an 8-layer PCB constructed from 2 oz thickened copper and server-grade materials, providing headroom for demanding Ryzen 9000 workloads and overclocking sessions.
