The Noctua NH-U14S TR5-SP6 is a premium 140mm single-tower CPU air cooler purpose-built for AMD Threadripper workstations and Epyc servers using the sTR5 and SP6 sockets. Evolved from Noctua's established TR4-SP3 platform, this revision brings updated SecuFirm2 mounting brackets engineered to satisfy the higher contact-pressure specifications demanded by the sTR5/SP6 socket design, while retaining the same oversized heatsink architecture that has made its predecessor a reference choice in professional environments. At the heart of the cooler sits a copper base measuring 70×56 mm — more than double the contact area of a standard desktop heatsink — matched precisely to the large integrated heat-spreaders found on sTR5 and SP6 processors. Six copper heatpipes transfer heat from the base to an aluminium fin stack offering more than 6,000 cm² of surface area, and the entire assembly is finished with soldered joints and nickel plating for long-term corrosion resistance. Cooling airflow is delivered by two NF-A15 HS-PWM 140mm fans arranged in a push/pull configuration.
