The Noctua NL-LC1-36 is a 360mm all-in-one CPU liquid cooler designed for users who demand quiet operation without sacrificing thermal performance. At its core sits the Asetek Emma V2 pump platform, a premium-grade system recognised for thermal efficiency and long-term reliability. Noctua augments this foundation with its custom-engineered NL-PNA1 pump noise absorber, a three-layer acoustic soundproofing structure that employs the tuned-mass damper principle to reduce both airborne noise and structure-borne vibrations from the pump head. The pump integrates a three-position mode switch — Quiet, Balanced, and Manual — giving users precise control over the pump speed range of 750 to 3400 RPM (PWM). In Quiet mode, pump noise is rated below 5 dBA, making it suitable for noise-sensitive environments such as home studios or open-plan workspaces. Three Noctua NF-A12x25 G2 120mm PWM fans are mounted to the 360mm aluminium radiator. These fans spin at up to 1800 RPM, deliver a maximum airflow of 63.15 CFM (107.3 m³/h), generate up to 3.14 mm H₂O of static pressure, and produce no more than 22.5 dBA at full speed. SSO2 self-stabilising oil-pressure bearings underpin long-term rotational accuracy. A speed-offset algorithm staggers the fan speeds to reduce harmonic resonance, preventing beat-frequency vibration build-up. The aluminium radiator measures 399.5 × 120 × 30 mm, and the copper cold plate ensures efficient heat transfer from the CPU lid. Tubing length is 410 mm. The NL-PNA1 faceplate attaches magnetically and can be swapped for the separately available NL-ACF1 auxiliary cooling fan to direct airflow toward VRMs, RAM, or M.2 SSDs near the socket. Installation is handled by Noctua's SecuFirm2+ multi-socket mounting system, supporting Intel LGA 1700, LGA 1851, and LGA 1954, as well as AMD AM4 and AM5 sockets.
