Overview
The Thermaltake Toughliquid Ultra 240 is a 240 mm all-in-one liquid CPU cooler built around a standout 2.1-inch rotational TFT-LCD IPS display that shows real-time system information and can cycle through user-uploaded JPG or GIF files at 480×480 resolution. Managed through the TT RGB Plus 2.0 software — the only compatible software for this series — the display connects via a Micro USB to USB 9-pin header and supports Windows 7, 8, 8.1, and 10 operating systems. Cooling performance is handled by two TOUGHFAN 12 Turbo fans, each measuring 120×120×25 mm. Running on PWM control across a 500–2500 RPM range, each fan delivers up to 72.69 CFM of airflow and 3.78 mm-H₂O static pressure, while keeping noise to a rated 28.1 dB-A. The aluminum radiator measures 273×120×27 mm and connects to the system via 400 mm rubber tubing. The low-evaporation tube design is intended to minimise coolant loss over time, removing the need for periodic refilling. Heat transfer from the processor is managed through a copper cold-plate water block. The pump operates at 3200 RPM, rated at 12 V / 0.38 A with a power draw of 4.56 W, providing continuous water circulation to keep the cold plate cool under sustained load. The display module draws 5 V and consumes up to 11.5 W independently.
