The Thermaltake CTE E550 TG Matcha Green is a dual-chamber mid-tower chassis engineered for enthusiast builders who want both visual impact and genuine hardware flexibility. Three 4mm tempered glass panels — front, left side, and rear — deliver a panoramic view of internal components across an ultra-wide angle, making every build a centrepiece. At the heart of the CTE E550's design philosophy is versatility. Three distinct GPU mounting modes let you customise how your graphics card is displayed: a floating GPU configuration (using the separately sold 400mm PCIe 4.0 riser cable), an upright vertical orientation, or an upright-forward position facing the side panel via rotational PCIe slots. All three methods are supported by the chassis structure itself. Compatibility with next-generation hidden-connector motherboards is built in. The CTE E550 TG accommodates boards from the ASUS BTF Series, MSI PROJECT ZERO Series, and GIGABYTE PROJECT STEALTH Series, alongside standard Mini-ITX, Micro-ATX, ATX, and E-ATX (up to 12" x 10.5") form factors. Cooling headroom is generous. The chassis supports up to eight 120mm fans (or six 140mm fans) across the motherboard side, bottom, and top positions. AIO radiators up to 420mm can be mounted on the motherboard side, up to 360mm on the bottom (DIY configuration), and up to 240mm at the top. CPU coolers up to 166mm tall clear without obstruction, and GPU lengths up to 443.8mm are accommodated without a radiator installed (415mm with one fitted). The dual-chamber layout separates the main component bay from a dedicated cable management zone on the right side, stocked with Velcro straps and cable ties in the accessory box. Dust filtration is handled by removable mesh filters at the top, bottom, and right side of the chassis.
