The MSI MPG X570 Gaming Edge WiFi is an ATX-form-factor motherboard built on the AMD X570 chipset, designed for AMD Socket AM4 processors. It is compatible with 2nd and 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen desktop processors as well as Ryzen processors featuring Radeon Vega Graphics. For memory, the board provides four DDR4 DIMM slots supporting dual-channel configurations with a maximum installed capacity of 128 GB. Memory speeds reach up to DDR4-3200 by JEDEC standard, and up to DDR4-4400 in A-XMP overclocking mode when paired with 3rd Gen Ryzen processors. Both non-ECC and ECC (run in non-ECC mode) unbuffered DIMMs are supported. Storage connectivity is handled by six SATA 6 Gb/s ports and two M.2 Key-M slots. The primary M.2 slot (M2_1, sourced from the AMD processor) supports PCIe 4.0 x4 with 3rd Gen Ryzen or PCIe 3.0 x4 with 2nd Gen Ryzen, and accepts 2242, 2260, 2280, and 22110 form-factor drives.
