Overview
The ASRock FM2A68M-DG3+ is a Micro ATX form-factor motherboard built around the AMD A68H (Bolton-D2H) chipset, designed to accommodate Socket FM2+ processors (up to 95W TDP) and Socket FM2 processors (up to 100W TDP). It is a compact yet capable platform suited for AMD A-series APU builds, home theater PCs, and entry-level desktop systems where space efficiency and integrated graphics performance matter. At the heart of its memory subsystem are two DDR3 DIMM slots supporting dual-channel operation with speeds ranging from DDR3 1066 up to DDR3 2400+ (overclocked), and a maximum system memory capacity of 32 GB using non-ECC, unbuffered modules. Both Intel XMP 1.3/1.2 and AMD AMP up to 2400 memory profiles are supported, giving builders flexibility in memory configuration. The board leverages the integrated AMD Radeon R7/R5 series graphics present in compatible A-series APUs. Dual independent display outputs — a DVI-D port supporting resolutions up to 2560×1600 at 60 Hz and a D-Sub port supporting up to 1920×1200 at 60 Hz — allow simultaneous multi-monitor use without a discrete GPU. HDCP support and Full HD 1080p Blu-ray playback are available via the DVI-D port.
