The ASRock Z490 Extreme4 is an ATX-form-factor motherboard (12.0 in x 9.6 in / 30.5 cm x 24.4 cm) built on the Intel Z490 chipset and designed for 10th and 11th Generation Intel Core processors using the LGA1200 socket. It is an enthusiast-grade platform aimed at gamers, content creators, and system builders who want a capable foundation for overclocking and high-bandwidth connectivity without moving to flagship pricing. At the heart of the power delivery is an 11-phase digital power design using 50 A Dr.MOS integrated power stages, premium 60 A power chokes, and Nichicon 12K Black capacitors (Japan-made conductive polymer). The XXL aluminium alloy heatsink helps manage thermals during sustained workloads. A 2 oz copper PCB with high-density glass fabric further aids signal integrity and thermal headroom for memory overclocking.
