The GIGABYTE B850 Eagle ICE is an ATX form-factor motherboard built on the AMD B850 chipset, designed for AMD Socket AM5 and compatible with Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series processors. With its clean white ICE aesthetic, this board pairs premium functionality with enthusiast-grade connectivity to serve gamers and power users building on AMD’s latest platform. For gaming performance, the B850 Eagle ICE introduces GIGABYTE’s X3D Turbo Mode, accessible through the BIOS, which is designed to enhance frame rates when using supported Ryzen 9000 processors. The D5 Bionic Corsa platform optimizes DDR5 performance with one-click overclocking capabilities, supporting DDR5 speeds from 4400 MT/s up to 8200 MT/s (overclocked) across four DIMM slots with a maximum capacity of 256 GB. Both AMD EXPO and Intel XMP memory profiles are supported. Storage is handled by three M.2 slots — the primary M2A_CPU slot supports PCIe 5.0 x4 with Ryzen 9000 and 7000 processors, M2B_CPU runs PCIe 4.0 x4, and M2C_SB operates at PCIe 4.0 x2 via the chipset.
