The ASRock B850 Pro-A WiFi 6E is a full-size ATX motherboard (12.0 in × 9.6 in) built on the AMD B850 chipset and designed for AMD Socket AM5 processors — including Ryzen 9000, 8000, and 7000 series. Its eight-layer PCB construction promotes stable signal routing and efficient power delivery, supporting the 14+2+1 power-phase design with 80 A Dr.MOS for VCore, SOC, and MISC rails. Memory is handled by four DDR5 DIMM slots in dual-channel configuration, with support for up to 256 GB of unbuffered ECC or non-ECC DDR5 at rated speeds up to DDR5-8000+ via XMP and EXPO profiles. Storage versatility is a standout: the primary M.2 slot (M2_1) runs PCIe Gen 5×4 at up to 128 Gb/s with Ryzen 9000 or 7000 CPUs, while three additional M.2 slots offer PCIe Gen 4×4 (64 Gb/s) and Gen 3×4 (32 Gb/s) options. Four SATA 6 Gb/s ports round out storage connectivity. A reinforced PCIe 5.0 ×16 slot with 15 µm gold contacts accommodates current and next-generation graphics cards. Networking is covered by onboard Wi-Fi 6E (802.11a/b/g/n/ac/ax/axe) with dual-band 2×2 MU-MIMO, extended 6 GHz band support (Windows 11, compatible router required), and Bluetooth 5.2.
