The Noctua NH-U12A chromax.black is an all-black variant of Noctua's NH-U12A, featuring a fully blacked-out heatsink with nickel-plated copper base, copper heatpipes, and aluminium cooling fins joined via soldered joints for a thermally stable interface that resists degradation over years of thermal cycling. The cooler ships with two NF-A12x25 PWM chromax.black 120mm fans arranged in a push-pull configuration, allowing the motherboard to govern fan speed automatically for near-silent operation at idle and full airflow under sustained load. Maximum fan speed is 2000 RPM, reducible to 1700 RPM using the included NA-RC14 Low-Noise Adaptors for even quieter running.
