The ASRock B560M Steel Legend is a Micro-ATX motherboard built on the Intel B560 chipset, designed for 10th and 11th Generation Intel Core processors using the LGA1200 socket. It delivers a strong combination of connectivity, power delivery, and storage flexibility in a compact 9.6 x 9.6-inch form factor, making it well suited for mainstream desktop builds that demand performance without occupying a full-ATX footprint. Power delivery is handled by a 10-phase Dr.MOS design with premium 60A power chokes and Nichicon 12K Black capacitors, providing stable Vcore regulation under sustained workloads. The board supports up to 128 GB of DDR4 memory across four DIMM slots. With an 11th Gen CPU, memory can be configured up to DDR4 4800 MHz (OC); with a 10th Gen CPU, the ceiling is DDR4 4666 MHz (OC). Intel XMP 2.0 profiles are also supported for straightforward memory overclocking. Storage options are generous. The Hyper M.2 slot (M2_1) runs at PCIe Gen4 x4 (64 Gb/s) with 11th Gen processors—or Gen3 x4 with 10th Gen—while the Ultra M.2 slot (M2_2) supports PCIe Gen3 x4 and SATA3. Six SATA3 6.0 Gb/s connectors with Intel Rapid Storage Technology 18, AHCI, and Hot Plug round out the storage bay. The HDMI 2.0 port supports up to 4K (4096x2160) at 60 Hz with 11th Gen processors, while DisplayPort 1.4 reaches 4K (4096x2304) at 60 Hz. Audio is powered by a Realtek ALC897 codec delivering 7.1-channel HD audio with Nahimic Audio software and gold audio jacks. ASRock Polychrome RGB Sync is supported via two RGB LED headers and two addressable LED headers.
