The Cooler Master Hyper 212 3DHP ARGB (Black) is a capable 120mm CPU air cooler built around Cooler Master's proprietary 3DHP (Three-Dimensional Heat Pipe) technology. Unlike conventional flat heat pipes, 3DHP increases the effective contact area between the heat pipes and the CPU heat spreader, enabling more efficient heat transfer from the CPU die to the aluminium fin stack — even with fewer heat pipes overall. The cooler ships with a single 120mm Ring Blade ARGB fan that uses a distinctive ring-frame structure to direct airflow evenly across the fin array while keeping tonal noise to a minimum. PWM control via a 4-pin connector lets the motherboard regulate fan speed from 0 to 2,050 RPM (±10%), keeping the system near-silent under light loads and ramping up only when thermals demand it. Maximum airflow is rated at 107.2 m³/h (63.1 CFM) and static pressure reaches 2.69 mmH₂O, with peak noise not exceeding 22.6 dBA. The fan uses a Loop Dynamic Bearing rated for more than 200,000 hours MTTF, drawing just 1.44 W at a rated 12 V DC. The heatsink body measures 133 × 86 × 158 mm, keeping total height within the clearance of most mid-tower and full-tower cases. Its enlarged CPU contact base is machined to cover a broader surface area for improved thermal coupling across a wide range of processor sizes. Addressable Gen 2 RGB lighting on the fan is compatible with major motherboard ARGB headers.
